COVER SUPERVISOR NJC Scale 7-11 (actual £17,570.81 - £19,269.27pa) 37 hours per week TTO + 2 weeks Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
Are you passionate about supporting and nurturing students in the classroom to reach their full potential? Whatever our students need to achieve this, we will find a way to help them do so and with your help, Rainhill will continue on its journey to provide an outstanding education for all students.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and committed Cover Supervisor with excellent behaviour management skills to provide effective classroom supervision to support learning and teaching when required to cover for short term staff absences.
You will also coordinate organising cover for absent staff on a daily basis and other related support across the school.
This is a challenging but rewarding role and will involve delivering learning programmes and cover lessons effectively to whole classes, ensuring that the educational provision for students is maintained to the highest standard of attainment and achievement.
This post is on a one year fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.
Previous experience of working in a school setting with children and young people is essential as is a desire to want to make a difference.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, forward thinking and highly organised Community Development Officer, to facilitate and manage the day to day running and promoting the community use lettings of the school facilities, to start as soon as possible.
The right candidate will need to be a team player with a good work ethic, showing high levels of initiative in liaising with our Trust partners, developing new bookings and bringing skill and personality in to the job role. The ability to work at weekends is essential.
Previous experience of working in an education setting with students is desirable.
We are open to consider a job share for this role on the basis of a ‘3 x days one week, two days the next’ shift pattern. Please state clearly on your application if this is something you would like us to consider.
