LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 + SEN

SCP Point 10 9,529.68 - £9,660.71 actual inclusive of SEN allowance) per annum

25 hours per week Term Time Only + 5 Inset days

One Year fixed term rolling contract

Required as soon as possible, the Trustees are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant Level 2 who has the experience to provide support for Pupils who have Statements for Additional Educational Needs with ASD/ADHD and Cognitive and Learning Needs across age ranges from Years 7 to 13.

The successful applicant will be expected to have good communication skills and empathy with children who have special educational needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils in assisting and giving support in classroom management and behaviour techniques. Teaching qualifications are not required, but previous experience of working with children and young people is essential.

The fixed term contract is dependent upon continuing SEN funding.

Required as soon as possible, the Trustees are looking to appoint a committed professional to join our Pastoral team. This new post will enhance the support available to our students to ensure that they overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop and implement programmes of support to further student confidence, progress, and attainment.

Previous experience of working with children and young people is essential.

This post is offered on a fixed term contract continuing subject to Pupil Premium funding
