Eboney Cheshire: a statement from Executive principal John Pout
“Eboney was a very popular pupil and all of us connected with the school – friends and staff alike – miss her greatly. The thoughts of the entire school community are with the family now and always.
“While the reason for her death is now known, we are still struggling to come to terms with it. Counselling has been available to Eboney’s immediate friends, her wider circle of acquaintances and to the wider school pupil population, including those staff who taught her.
“In the near future we will be working with Eboney’s friends and family to have a permanent memorial to her within our school.
“In the meantime our education programme, which includes educating young people about drugs, continues. The safety of all pupils when they are in school is our number one priority.”
